A multi layered abstract resin seascape that needs to be seen up close to be truly appreciated.
'Time' because this piece took time to complete, time to create the layers, details and depth. Time because all good things take time and things and situations improve over time. Time is also the best healer and what gets us to the light at the end of the tunnel.
This piece was started in November 2023 and after a couple of layers, I realised it just wasn't the right time for me to be working on such large pieces, I wasn't feeling it and not happy with what was in front of me and my creative mindset wasn't quite there and I couldn't see how to take the piece forward. Fast forward to February 2025 and I finally felt ready to revisit the piece and could see exactly what needed to be done.
The result, a gorgeous multi-faceted artwork, full of interesting detail, iridescent shimmer and depth. The closer you look at the piece the more you see and as light hits the piece, the more the piece is brought to life.
A truly gorgeous statement piece of art.
